I felt called to the prison ministry more than 20 years ago as a young believer. My mission is to teach the incarcerated that there is life beyond prison walls, share the love of Jesus and bring hope and encouragement to broken lives (Isaiah 58:6; II Timothy 3:16). I am certified as a teacher and mentor through Prison Fellowship Ministries and currently volunteer at the Women's Prison and the Men's Correctional Facility in Raleigh, NC—ministering to the inmates, their families and caregivers that look after the inmates’ children. A mission trip to Peru years ago changed my outlook on life. Things that were once important to me became less of a priority. Seeing the poverty there made me appreciate even more God's grace and favor in my life. Jesus came to seek that which was lost. Salvation is the greatest of all miracles—a free gift from God the Father. The kingdom of God is near. Are you ready to receive Jesus? Read Romans 10:9-10. There is a new life for YOU beyond prison walls! I would like to acknowledge Pastor Mitch Horton and Victory Church (www.vfgarner.com) as well as Pastor Diego and Clara Correa (www.alasnaciones.com) for their spiritual and financial support to my life and ministry. |
